Academic Overview
The course programme is directed towards young people who want to interpret and hear music as a creative process, expose themselves to the experience of musical elements and study in a free atmosphere, designed according to their own wishes.
The course offers a wide range of subjects and courses:
- First (instrumental/vocal) study
- Harmony, music theory
- Aural
- Music history
- Conducting, choir
- Eurhythmy, “body percussion”
- Phenomenology of the intervals
- Musical anthropology
Interdisciplinary programmes pose several questions: How do I gain a better quality of musical experience, and what does music have to do with me as a person and my life? This intense experience of musical elements (tones, intervals, harmony, etc.) can be a fertile ground for inspiration, a subsequent artistic, pedagogical or therapeutic activity. Therefore, the programme is a particularly suitable preparation for the Hochschule entrance examinations, as training for young professional musicians or as a foundation year for future artistic eurhythmy and music therapists.
